Launch schedule by province

The Single European Emergency Number has been active since 3 December 2024 in the area code district of the Metropolitan City of Bologna, Cento (Ferrara) and Alto Reno Terme (Bologna).

The service is also active from 21 January 2025 in the area code districts of Parma, Fidenza, Fornovo di Taro (Parma) and Piacenza; from 4 February 2025 in the area code districts of Rimini, Forlì and Cesena; from 18 February 2025 in the area code districts in the area code district of Reggio Emilia; from 4 March 2025 in the area code districts of Ferrara, Comacchio (Ferrara) and Lugo (Ravenna); from 18 March 2025 in the area code districts of Modena, Mirandola and Sassuolo (Modena).

Finally, from 1 April 2025 the service is also active in the area code districts of Imola (Bologna), Ravenna and Faenza (Ravenna).
